Everything in life moves in cycles. Without sadness how do we know happiness? Without misery how do we know joy? Without darkness how would we know light?
Each of these ways of being are essential in finding balance and appreciation of the good when it is present and resting in the knowledge that the bad times will pass.
Rest assured that it is ok to not always feel vibrant. Sometimes we just want to extract ourselves from the world, close off and spend some time alone. This is okay. Be true to your heart and embrace how you are feeling and when you err on the side of darkness, know that this too will pass. ❤️
